Dr. Greg Frey received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 1994. He graduated from the University of Houston, College of Optometry in 1998 and was a member of the Beta Sigma Kappa Honorary Society. Dr. Frey is certified by the National board of Examiners in Optometry. He received numerous academic awards and was trained with an emphasis in contact lenses, pre and post-op surgical care, diagnosis and treatment of eye disease, family practice, and pediatrics. He is also a certified optometric glaucoma specialist. Dr. Frey is a resident of Grand Prairie, where he is active in the Sierra Club and National Parks & Conservation Association. In his free time he enjoys motorcycles, sports, music, and volunteering for Grand Prairie’s Lion’s Club Low Vision Clinic. |

Larry Tarrant, O.D.

Dr. Tarrant received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of North Texas in 1994. He graduated from the University of Houston, College of Optometry in 1998. Dr. Tarrant is certified by the National Board of Examiners in Optometry and has emphasized his education on the correction of visual disorders, diagnosis and treatment of pathologies of the eye, pre and post-op care, adnexa with oral and topical medications, family practice, geriatrics/low vision, and contact lenses. He is also a certified Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. He has independently developed a patent pending computer program that designs lenses specifically for computer use in order to alleviate symptoms of CVS (Computer Vision Syndrome). Dr. Tarrant resides in Sunnyvale and enjoys volunteering and contributing to animal rescue efforts such as the SPCA and the Humane Society as well as providing training and lectures for nurses in the Dallas, Grand Prairie, and Forney Independent School Districts. |
